Book Written by Northland School Division Students now Available

Students from Northland School Division compiled stories from Elders into a book entitled Finding the Fire Within by Reconnecting with the Land.

The 92-page paperback book is available for purchase on Amazon.

During the project, students listened to local Elders during storytelling sessions and—with permission—put the stories into their own words and created illustrations to accompany the stories.

Funding and support for the project was provided by Cenovus Energy, which made publishing the book possible.
