Annual Handgames Tournament

Handgames are a traditional First Nations game involving hiding or guessing. Players use gestures and movements with rocks and blankets to distract their opponents. The winner is determined by a points system kept track of with sticks.

AHS Food Safe Course

This two-day course prepares participants for the exam and certification required by Section 31 of Alberta’s Food Regulation. Participants will learn about food safety topics and will complete a 50 question multiple choice exam at the end of the course. If successful, participants will receive a certificate and be added to the provincial registry. This course provides a two-day Food Safety Alberta certificate that does not expire. For ages 16+. $75.
