Annual Indigenous Art Show – Open Call for Artists

The Peace River Municipal Library, in conjunction with the Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee, is looking for local Indigenous artists who would like to be featured in the Annual Indigenous Art Show from May 23 to June 21. Grimshaw Yard of the Month Contest

Fire up the lawn mower and weed eater, pull out the gardening tools and watering hose, plant a few flowers, trees and shrubs. You’ll feel good when you see the results and even better if you win! All monthly entries must be received by the 10th of each month by filling out a form at the Grimshaw town office. All judging will be completed by the 15th of each month and winner will be announced to the public. All entries must be within the Town of Grimshaw. No property may win more than once per year. All entries will be judged solely on the exterior appearance of the property and front yard as viewed from the street. Winners will receive a gift basket and a photo of their front yard will be displayed on the Town of Grimshaw’s Facebook page. To qualify for this program, applicants must be a resident of Grimshaw or immediate surrounding area, they meet the eligibility requirements and submit a completed application form and proof of income. Just in Case Program

Northern Sunrise County

Start preparing the documents and information you will need in case you or a family member has a sudden death or emergency. The folder holds no documents; instead, it lists where to find your important documents. Supplies and instruction provided free of charge.
